A Coming Asteroid Strike

Many people have reported revelations of coming meteor strikes on the earth, especially near the USA. The Lord has not given me any personal revelation about this, but it is scriptural, so I have I decided to compile some of these reports here.

Prophetess Seonaid O’Riada

“There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars; and on the earth anxiety of nations, in perplexity for the roaring of the sea and the waves; men fainting for fear, and for expectation of the things which are coming on the world: for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. But when these things begin to happen, look up, and lift up your heads, because your redemption is near.” Luke 21:25-28 

Prophet Efrain Rodriguez:
When he was 16 years old he was given a powerful vision of a meteor hitting near Puerto Rico. He said it will do three things: 1) it’s going to cause a shockwave like a nuclear bomb going off; 2) it will sett off a 12.0 earthquake; 3) it will make a 1,000 ft. tsunami near Puerto Rico, which will be about 200 ft. tall by the time it reaches America. He said the primary reason it’s coming is because America will cause Israel to split Jerusalem and give the Palestinians a state.

Prophet John Paul Jackson:
He saw a tsunami coming to the east coast, but he did now know the timing for this to occur. He said it will be caused by an unusual event. What he saw hit New York City, but he wasn’t sure how far south down the east coast it came, but somewhere south and somewhere north of there were hit as well. In The Perfect Storm, he said that as part of that storm that is coming on America, there would be signs in the sun and moon such as the Bible speaks in the book of Joel.

Apostle Augusto Perez: In the “Pole Shift” vision, he was in this place and he was looking at stars in the night skies when suddenly they started moving, first slowly and then very fast. It looked as if they were falling from the skies to the earth. Then he realized that it was not the stars that were moving, but the earth itself. The earth started to shake and wobble he had to hold on to a nearby rock so as not to fall from the violent shaking rolls and spinning taking place. A feeling of dizziness and confusion came over him.

January of 2012 Augusto had a vision where he was in the area of Virginia/Maryland. There were many people on the beach area and they seemed to be having a good time. Then he noticed that many of the people there were suddenly startled by something (maybe it was a loud explosion, not sure) as they all started to look into the sea very concerned. As he drew closer to look in the direction that everyone was looking at, he saw far away in the distance a strange movement in the waters. As he focused on it, he was gently taken up in the air above where this event was taking place, and he was able to see a huge whole in the sea. It was a very large and very deep hole. He could clearly see the brownish sand at the bottom of the ocean. He does not know what created this hole in the Atlantic Ocean, but he knew that it was not good as the waters began to swirl around ferociously.
He was then brought back to the shore away from the sea and placed back down on the ground gently. He felt completely safe and protected in the arms of the Lord the whole time as he was watching these events unfold. He felt at peace, not scared at all although he did feel the fear that was coming from the crowds of people that were there. They started running all over the place realizing that a large Tsunami was soon coming upon them. He was taken to a place very high on a hill where he could still see the event. He saw the waves begin to come in more and more, covering the land like a monster. Then he realized that whatever the event was that had taken place, it had caused a big Tsunami. He noticed that the waters of the waves, as they were coming in, had a lot of foam associated with it. He remembers thinking how strange that was. Then he came to his senses.
Something will happen off the coast of Virginia/Maryland that will trigger a large Tsunami affecting the Eastern Seaboard. It could be an asteroid hitting the ocean in that area, an earthquake, an undersea volcano erupting. He was not shown what it was that caused it. He must warn that everyone who lives in this region should make spiritual preparations as well as physical preparations. The Lord Jesus Christ, does not want anyone to perish, but that all come to salvation. Time is running out and The Day of the Lord is upon us. Watch and pray that you may be accounted worthy to escape all things that shall soon come upon the world, and to stand before the Son of man.

David Wilkerson:
In 1974 David Wilkerson wrote in The Vision that the greatest earthquake in history is coming to the world, there would be two other mega-quakes in America. He said there would be numerous earthquakes around the world [apparently at the same time].

John Shorey:
As a result of David Wilkerson’s and Efrain Rodriguez’ prophecies, he began studying meteors in the Bible.
Luke 21:25-26 “There will be signs in the sun, moon & stars (which are asteroids) & on the earth; nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea” – the sea would roar and toss if an asteroid like that hit it. Matt. 24:29 – “the stars will fall from the sky”; “the heavenly bodies will be shaken”. Rev. 17 & 18 – talks about the destruction of “Mystery Babylon” (America) will be destroyed by an angel throwing a great boulder into the sea, with such violence that it will create a huge splash. Shorey believes the Lord showed him when this would happen in relation to the rapture: Luke 21:27: “At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory” – he believes the rapture is immediately after. Mark 13:26 – “At that time people will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory”; Matt. 24:29 “Immediately after the distress of those days the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give it’s light….”
